Coffee roast

The Apaneca region, nestled in the Apaneca Illamatepec mountain range, offers an ideal microclimate for coffee cultivation with its high altitude, excellent weather, and fertile volcanic soil—making it one of El Salvador’s most prestigious coffee-growing areas and possibly the birthplace of the nation’s coffee. Within this region, the Las Isabellas farm, located on the southern slopes of the mountain range and spanning over 175 acres of natural forest with pristine spring water and waterfalls, produces and processes its coffee on-site at the Taquendama beneficio facility. Owned by Jose Roberto Santamaria and his wife Monica (and named after their daughter Isabella), the farm is characterized by Roberto’s energetic and intentional approach to coffee, as well as a deep commitment to community development, including support for local education and efforts to improve the region’s potable water access.

This El Salvador Bourbon is a natural processed coffee. With this product, you can enjoy the full flavor and richness of the coffee while supporting environmentally responsible farming practices. This is a wonderful coffee roasted medium to medium dark.
